Kites Movie Review

OMG!! the much awaited movie Kites is finally in theaters and with all the hype, publicity n posters of Kites everywhere around the street gives it a bigger opening than any other bollywood movie till date, so every one is dying to watch this movie. But is this movie worth the price? For me yes i was lucky enough to watch it 2day itself. According 2 me Audience has mixed feeling about this movie since Kites address to global audience so many people either luved this muvie or sum them got bored n thought that it is a waste of time. 

Kites does not have any story or rather it follows the same old bollywood shit which we have seen earlier but director anurag basu has taken all efforts to show such a simple story in different view n make a impact on audeince.

What is good about Kites?

Hrithik yup that is what comes into ur mind when u leave from the cinema hall, He is looking fab n has grown with his acting skills. In the song 'Fire' he is simply awesum doing hip-hop and salsa  and will leave u speechless whereas Kangana compliments him.Barbara Mori looks stunning, u just cant take ur eyes off her. Together Hrithik and Barbara sizzle on screen n they look amazing. Kabir Bedi an other actors do justice to their role.Cinematography is another plus point of the movie.The film is shot beautifully in locations like Las Vegas, Mexico n hats off to camera man Jacques Haitkin he has made this film look really good.Music is refreshing and is placed at right times. Action sequences and stunts are well directed and according to the situation not like other movies who first decide what will b the stunts in the movie and then think of the story.

Whats bad?

Same old story and weak screenplay lets u down.The movie has been hyped since 2009 so people had lot of expectation from this one and everyone thought this would change Indian cinema's image in Hollywood.This movie is not for masses and it will  be liked only in metro cities due to English and Spanish dialogues.Major Indian audience likes to watch movies for fun n relaxation from their daily routine but this one makes u read subtitles which kinda tiring. Kangana plz stop doing depressed roles  film industry might think u are actually one of them.Barbara only looks good were as in acting she is below average.If u remove Hrithik from this movie then the its a huge disaster It is the actor Hrithik who keeps u to stay in the cinema hall.

Verdict

Frnds watch this movie at least once for its stardom, looks and style.Dont expect that this movie will b the biggest hit of the year or it will blow ur mind completely.I give Kites 3/5(three out of five) stars 1 for Hrthik, 1 for editing and 1 for cinematography. 

Housefull Movie Review

House full of Shit, yup I can say that about the newly released film Housefull. It is a disaster I tell you.I don't understand whats wrong with bollywood?Why they wanna create movies with no sense, no story and usual confusion comedy. The movie has huge starcast and directed by Heyy baby fame Sajid Khan. but wasted  All over Mumbai you must be seeing huge posters of Housefull declaring Biggest opening of the year, yes it is but I think it should be Biggest Flop of the year.All the three actress Deepika,Lara & Jia are wasted , they appear only to sizzle on screen whereas Lara does her job quite well. Akshay Kumar playing a loser carries on it very easily, but come on Akshay when r u gonna do sum real stuff ? sum good action or a comedy film.Ritesh supports Akshay with usual comedy style but that doesn't help at all. Rest all other actors like Boman, Chunky have done justice do their role. This is a genuine request to movie makers that plz make sensible movies  since we the Audience needs good cinema enough of this slapstick comedy n ya i dnt understand how cum people give 3/5 or 4/5 for this kind of movie. I give housefull 1/5 and recommend u plz dnt watch it nt even at home. 

Blue Movie Review

Blue(2009) the much awaited movie of the year which finally released on 16 Oct 2009 comprising of huge star cast and shot in exotic locations like Bahamas and Bangkok.The film stars Sanjay Dutt as Sagar,Akshay Kumar as Aarav,Lara Dutta as Mona and Zayed Khan as Sam in lead roles. Special appearance include Katrina Kaif(Nikki)in a brand new look and Kylie Minogue as herself.These lead actors are supported by Rahul Dev(Gulshan)and Kabir Bedi(Captain).

Aarav(Akshay Kumar) is shown as a rich brat who owns fishing company in Bahamas and Sagar(Sanjay Dutt) aka Sethji is professional diver who knows everything about the ocean .Mona played by Lara Dutta is Sagar's girlfriend who has a dreams for saving the marine life.Aarav advises Sagar to find the treasure deep beneath the ocean in a sunken ship called as Lady in Blue but Sethji(Sagar) does not agrees with him since he has his own past which troubles him. Meanwhile Sam(Zayed Khan) is busy doing illegal bike racing in Bangkok where Katrina(Nikki) makes a special cameo with him. Gulshan(Rahul Dev)challenges Sam to deliver a bag worth $50 million in 30 minutes but Sam looses the bag and then trouble starts over. The mafia men of Gulshan are after him and no one else but only his brother Sagar can help him. Now Sagar has no option but to save his brother, so he has to face his fear and find the treasure.

The movie is shot really well especially the underwater scenes and the camera movement during the action scenes was admirable.Hollywood technicians who have made Pirates of the Carribean series and other big hit movies have done a great job.The soundtrack is good like 'Chiggy Wiggy ,Blue Theme and Fiqrana' have already been in chart numbers but not as A.R Rehman's best so far.Akshay Kumar has done justice to his role, while Sanjay Dutt looks overweight. Lara dutta looks HOT no doubt about it but i think she forgot to act.Kylie and Katrina's special appearance was worth a watch.Zayed Khan makes no difference in the movie.His dressing sense is shown pretty cool when he is in Bangkok but when he comes to Bahamas looks like Zamkudi(local shop)had sponsored to all the clothes.Rahul dev has played a very villainous role and gives full credit to his character.For the first time in Bollywood action sequences were watchableand were according to the situation.

Being an action adventure movie Blue directed by Anthony D'Souza has forgotten the script.The movie title says "250 feet deep lies the secret of BLUE", yup that says it all, seriously the secret of blue is 'Treasure'. I personally was irritated when Akshay calls Sanjay Dutt 'Sethji' for a number of times throughout the movie.

Although having such a huge star cast and good technicians the movie didn't turned out well for me. I give 2 out of 5 stars.1 for the underwater sequences and the other for Akshay Kumar. My opinion is that if u wanna watch blue switch on your TV and watch discovery instead it will not charge you anything.

All The Best Movie Review

Here it goes my first movie review of a bollywood movie All the Best:Fun Begins 2009,so guyz please dont make any rude comments .The movie released on 16th October 2009 alongwith other big budget movies like Blue and Main Aurr Mrs Khanna.This movie got a low start opening since the promos were not very much interesting, although being a Rohit Shetty movie who is famous for his Comedy genre.The films Stars Ajay Devgan as Prem Chopra , Bipasha Basu as his wife(Jhanvi), Fardeen Khan(Veer),Sanjay Dutt(Dharam Kapoor)and Mugdha Godse(Vidya)as lead roles.Other actors include Asrani(Vidya aka Psycho daddy),Mukesh Tiwari,Ashwini Kalsekar,Johny Lever,Sanjay Mishra,Vijay Patkar and Atul Parchure.


The movie starts with the All the best promo song which has so many colors that you will be unable to find the lead actors along with thousands of background dancers.Fardeen Khan(Veer)is shown as rockstar who lives in big bungalow along with his girlfriend Mugda Godse(Jhanvi) & is greedy of getting extra money from his big brother Sanjay Dutt(Dharam).So whenever Chauthala (who is Dharam's Chamcha)arrives at their place they act like they have got married.Veer's best friend is Ajay Devgan(prem) who is a car expert and his wife Bipasha Basu is a fitness Trainer.Both prem and veer have debts to pay to The dumb mafia played by Johnny Lever, which is really funny since he communicates by making some sounds with spoon and glass. Since its is a Rohit Shetty film there are cars crashin & flying around mid air which is not all required.The movie initially is a slow start but the fun begins when Sanjay Dutt(Dharam)gives a sudden visit.When Dharam reaches home he assumes that Bipasha Basu is Fardeen's wife and then all the confusion starts. In addition to that many other characters visit the house which makes it a laugh riot.

According to me the movie has no story at all but the one-liners and situational comedy is awesum, especially between Ajay Devgan & Sanjay Dutt.I think Mugdha godse has a special appearance in the movie becoz she is hardly seen throughout the movie, while Sanjay Mishra's(Raghu aka Raghunandandas Govardhandas Vakawle)dialogue 'Just chill' is gonna be famous along youngsters.Even Johny Lever,a scene where his voice comes back when Sanjay Slaps him hard.In this movie the songs are shot really well but the soundtrack is lame.


For me all the best is full time pass movie for this Diwali weekend. Go out with ur family and friends n watch it by keeping ur Brain aside. I dare you if you find any logic in the movie since theres none of it. So i give 3 out of 5 stars since the movie is not bad but really funny in parts.
